Biography

Mike began his career in the  financial services industry in 1988 with MONY.  In 2006 he became an independent financial advisor and created Mike Brooks and Associates, Inc.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Georgetown College and is a Certified Public Accountant.  He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Mike is active in his community and has served on several boards and committees, including Bardstown Elementary PTO,  Bardstown Band Boosters, Bardstown-Nelson County Leadership Class of 1992, Bardstown  Kiwanis Club, Nelson  County Red Cross, Bardstown Foundation for Excellence in Public Education and Nazareth Campus Services.  Additionally, he serves as a Deacon in his church and is a local school volunteer.

Mike and his wife, Debbie, have 3 children, Austin, Allen and Clayton.
